Danielle Gaines Giddens, age 28 of Newport New, VA passed away Monday,October 19, 2015. . Danielle was born July 18, 1987 to Joann Bell and Herbert Bell. She was a member of New Messiah Baptist Church and later changed her membership to Tabernacle Praise Ministries International.
She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and attended Bainbridge State College. She worked for AT&T in Newport News, VA.
She was preceded in death by a father-in-law, Elijah Harper, her grandparents, Louise and Johnnie Gaines Sr, and two aunts Lillie Mae Fagg and Roberta Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Elijah Giddens, Sr, a son Elijah Giddens, Jr, a daughter Destiney Giddens of Newport News, VA; a mother and father Joann Bell and Herbert Bell of Bainbridge, a mother-in-law Lillie Rogers of Rochester, NY; two brother-in-laws, Adrian Harris(Tiffany) of Tampa, FL, James Giddens of Rochester, NY; two aunts, Lula Burke and Allie Mae Walker; two uncles: Bufford Gaines, and Johnny Gaines(Helen) of Bainbridge, GA. A godfather and godmother: Rev. Alfred Smith and Mrs. Smith; a god sister, Sarah Fagg of Bainbridge, GA. A devoted relative, Dr. David Akins and family of Norfolk, VA, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
